Mom and Dad's Sleeping Bag
True story: My father fished this sleeping bag out of the upper Hudson River (Newcomb) around 1957 (ish!). After a little restoration (washing!), he and my mother used as their sleeping bag when we would go camping. Now, I have the sleeping bag at my camp. I wonder who left it by the Hudson all those years ago? It is truly the most cozy red flannel sleeping bag. The book in the painting is called Camp Fire Girls- the chapter I randomly opened for this still life is called The Seashore. Enjoy! Adirondack lover Christmas GIft!
